Five-band audio EQ with ready-made presets
Start with Flat, Bass, Voice, Warm, or Bright. Each preset changes the same five fixed frequency bands, and you can refine every gain slider. Center frequencies and Q are fixed; this tool does not analyze audio automatically.
Choose a preset to adjust all five bands at once.
Fine-tune each gain from -12 to +12 dB.
Preview instantly, or Reset to return to Flat.

Equalize speech and voice recordings
If you need a voice equalizer for a spoken clip, start with the Voice preset. It reduces some bass and low-mid energy and raises presence near 4 kHz. Compare with Original and adjust for the recording; it cannot repair distorted speech.
Voice reduces low-mid buildup around 250 Hz.
Adjust 1 kHz to refine the midrange.
Voice adds presence around 4 kHz.

Use an equalizer for music
Choose Bass to boost low frequencies, Warm for a fuller tone, or Bright for stronger highs. These music EQ presets use the same five bands. Compare with Original and lower gains if the sound becomes boomy or harsh.
Bass boosts 80 Hz and 250 Hz for more low-end weight.
Bright lifts the upper bands, including 12 kHz.
Positive gains enable automatic peak protection.

Prepare a clip for export
Preview a tonal change before creating a new file. Choose MP3 or 16-bit PCM WAV, then listen to the exported file in Result. After settings change, the previous download stays available until a new export succeeds.
MP3 offers six bitrate options, from 64 to 320 kbps.
WAV has no MP3 bitrate setting.

Audio equalizer questions
What do the presets and five equalizer bands do?
Flat leaves every band at 0 dB. Bass boosts lows, Voice favors speech presence, Warm adds fullness, and Bright lifts highs. You can adjust each preset using the 80 Hz, 250 Hz, 1 kHz, 4 kHz, and 12 kHz sliders; results depend on your audio.
What is the difference between an audio EQ and a bass booster?
This audio equalizer adjusts five frequency bands separately, including bass, mids, and treble. Bass Booster focuses on the low end, Volume Booster changes overall gain, and Audio Normalizer works toward a LUFS target. Choose the tool that matches the change you need.
Does Preview match the exported file exactly?
Preview uses browser audio filters; export uses FFmpeg and your selected encoder. Both use the same five-band gains, but filter shapes and peak protection can differ. Preview reflects your current EQ gains. Play the encoded file in Result to check the export.
Can this equalizer repair distortion or restore missing sound?
Equalization changes the balance of frequencies already in a recording. It cannot restore missing frequencies, repair existing distortion, or automatically fix a mix. This five-band tool is not a ten-band or parametric equalizer, and it does not perform mastering.
Is my audio uploaded or saved online?
Your audio stays on your device during preview and export. The browser downloads the FFmpeg processing program when you apply the equalizer; that download does not send your audio to the CDN. There is no account, online history, or server-side audio processing.
Which input and output formats are supported?
Choose MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, or AAC that your browser can play. Inputs must fit the supported limit of 2 channels and 48 kHz. Export as MP3 with a selected bitrate or as 16-bit PCM WAV. Unsupported or damaged files show an error.
Can I equalize a long recording?
There is no fixed two-minute cutoff. The current input budget is 200 MB on desktop and 100 MB on mobile, and output size is checked separately. Long WAV exports can exceed the output budget. Use MP3 or a shorter source when a file is too large.
What happens at 0 dB or after I change a setting?
Flat sets all bands to 0 dB. Clicking Apply EQ then shows a no-change message and skips processing. A preset or band adjustment updates the current settings; the old Result stays playable and downloadable until a new export succeeds. Positive gains enable peak protection.
Try a small tonal adjustment
Choose an EQ preset, boost bass or adjust other frequencies, and hear the result before exporting your audio.
