Does this website set my iPhone ringtone?
No. This tool creates a downloadable audio file; it cannot change iPhone settings. The iPhone preset defaults to MP3. Choose M4R if your import workflow needs it. Available installation methods depend on your iOS version and installed apps.
Does Android require a 30-second ringtone?
No. The Android preset starts with up to 30 seconds as a convenient choice, but you can select a longer clip within the tool limits. It exports MP3. Choose the downloaded file in your phone settings; menu names vary by device.
Can I use this as an MP3 cutter and ringtone maker?
Yes. This ringtone editor accepts one MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, or AAC audio file. Trim the section you want, then export MP3 with any device preset. The iPhone preset also offers M4R. Protected or damaged files may not open, and converting formats cannot restore sound quality lost in the source.
Can I use this as a name ringtone maker?

How do Fade In and Fade Out work?
Each fade has its own switch and time. Turning one off keeps its value but removes that effect. Their combined time cannot exceed the selected section. The player applies your current fades; lossy encoding can sound slightly different in the exported result.
Is my audio uploaded or stored online?
Your audio is processed in this browser and is not uploaded to a processing server. The browser may download the audio engine on first export. Results are temporary, so save the file before leaving the page or refreshing your browser.
What happens when I change the settings?
Your last successful file stays available for playback and download while you edit or make another ringtone. Its details describe that export. A successful new result replaces it; choosing a different source file clears the old result.
Can I download M4R if its preview will not play?
Yes. If an exported M4R file passes the audio checks but this browser cannot play it inline, download remains available. Playback support differs between browsers. Device installation still needs a compatible workflow and is separate from file creation.
