How to merge audio files online

  1. 1

    Choose your tracks

Add two or more MP3, WAV, or other supported audio files. Preview each track and drag tracks into your preferred order.

  2. 2

    Trim, arrange and choose transitions

Drag waveform handles to trim each track, or move the selection without changing its length. Start and End fields appear after trimming. Optionally add crossfades and fades at the start or end, then choose your output format.

  3. 3

    Merge and download

Click Merge Audio to join MP3 files or other tracks in your selected order. Preview the merged result, then download a single file.

Arrange, trim, and blend your audio tracks

Prepare each clip and control how tracks meet before combining songs, voice notes, or recordings into one file.

01

Arrange tracks in your chosen order

Build your sequence by dragging tracks or using the move buttons. Preview individual tracks before choosing where they belong.

  • Drag tracks using their handles
  • Reorder with buttons or keyboard controls
  • See the total duration with crossfade overlaps included
02

Trim each track before merging

Keep only the part you need from each recording. Adjust its waveform selection directly without opening a separate trimming tool.

  • Drag waveform handles to adjust the start and end
  • Move the whole selection while keeping its length
  • Fine-tune Start and End after trimming
03

Add crossfades and start or end fades

Overlap adjacent clips with a crossfade for a smoother transition. You can also fade in the beginning or fade out the end of the merged audio.

  • Set one crossfade duration for all track transitions
  • Choose Equal Power or Linear crossfade curves
  • Switch the opening and closing fades on independently
04

Download one merged audio file

Use this MP3 joiner to combine clips into one file for sharing, or choose WAV or FLAC output for further editing. Each track is decoded and the merged audio is encoded again.

  • Use MP3, M4A, or AAC with a selected bitrate
  • Choose WAV, FLAC, or OGG output
  • Keep a previous download while making a new merge

Audio Joiner FAQ

How do I change the order of the tracks?
Drag a track by its handle to a new position, or use its up and down buttons. Keyboard users can select a handle with Space and move it with the arrow keys. The merged file follows the list from top to bottom.
Can I merge MP3 files with WAV or M4A?
This audio joiner accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, and AAC files in one list. Each input is validated and decoded before merging. Choose one output format for the entire result; it does not keep separate file formats.
Is merging audio lossless?
This tool decodes each track, uses 44.1 kHz audio, and encodes one output file. It keeps mono when all sources are mono; otherwise it uses stereo. WAV and FLAC use 16-bit samples. Lossy output encoding can introduce further quality loss.
How many audio files can I combine?
Add at least two tracks. The limit is 10 files on desktop and 5 on mobile, with total input budgets of 200 MB and 100 MB. Output and working-memory checks can reject larger merges before encoding.
Why is the total duration sometimes pending?
The total uses each track's selected duration minus any crossfade overlaps. If an input duration cannot be read yet, the total stays pending until it is verified by the processing engine.
Can I trim individual songs and add crossfades?
Yes. Drag waveform handles to trim each track, or move the selection without changing its length. Start and End fields appear once a track is trimmed. Crossfade all tracks applies one duration and curve to every adjacent pair. You can also fade the beginning or end of the merged audio. Each track must be long enough for the chosen crossfades.
Can I change the list after downloading a result?
Yes. Add, remove, reorder or trim tracks, change transitions or output settings, then merge again. The previous result stays available with its saved settings. A failed or cancelled attempt keeps that download; clearing all tracks also clears the result.
Does this online audio merger upload my files?
Your audio is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded for merging. The browser may download the FFmpeg processing engine from a CDN; that download does not send your audio. Keep the page open until the result is ready.
