Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-10

These Terms of Service govern your use of the AudioBento website and the tools made available through it. By using the website, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What AudioBento provides

AudioBento offers browser-based audio utilities, including tools to change playback speed, trim audio, adjust volume, normalize loudness, boost bass, and adjust equalizer settings. Tools may allow you to preview an effect and export a processed MP3 or WAV file, subject to the formats and limits displayed on the relevant page.

The currently available local audio tools run on your device using browser media capabilities and FFmpeg WebAssembly. They do not require you to upload the audio to AudioBento's servers for processing. Some functions may be unavailable in a browser or on a device with limited memory or processing capacity.

AudioBento may introduce separate account-based, cloud, or AI features. If offered, those features may require different processing, providers, limits, or additional terms. A feature that is visible in a menu or planned for the future is not a promise that it is currently available.

Your files and rights

You are responsible for the files you select, modify, and download. Use only audio you own or have permission or a lawful basis to process. Do not use AudioBento to infringe copyrights, violate privacy rights, or break applicable law.

For the existing local audio tools, you retain your rights in the original files and resulting recordings. AudioBento does not claim ownership of those files merely because you process them in your browser. Processing a file does not give you copyright or other rights you did not already have.

You are responsible for reviewing exported files and obtaining any permissions needed before sharing, distributing, or commercially using them.

Local processing, previews, and downloads

Local processing uses your device's resources. Time, quality, file size, and supported formats depend on the source material, browser compatibility, chosen settings, and available memory. Audio transformations can introduce artifacts, clipping, changes in pitch, or other audible differences.

A browser preview may not sound exactly like the final export. You should listen to the exported file and verify its duration, format, and quality before relying on it.

Processing and downloads may fail or be interrupted. You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files. AudioBento is not a substitute for permanent storage or an archival service.

Accounts and optional paid services

The local audio tools may be used without registering, unless a particular page states otherwise. If an account feature is available, you must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account use.

Some future or separately enabled features may require payment, subscriptions, credits, or usage limits. The applicable price, billing schedule, entitlements, and any cancellation or refund rules must be shown for that offering before you purchase it. No purchase is required for an advertised free local tool unless its page explicitly says otherwise.

Payments, where available, may be processed by third parties under their own applicable terms. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies provided by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload, process, or distribute content in violation of law or the rights of others.
  • Attempt to access another person's account or private data.
  • Attack, disrupt, overload, or bypass security and access restrictions on the website.
  • Use automated activity to interfere with service availability or abuse paid features.
  • Misrepresent an altered recording as authentic when doing so would deceive or harm others.

We may limit access to hosted or account-based functionality when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or comply with law.

Third-party technologies and links

AudioBento may rely on third-party hosting, authentication, analytics, payment, or other providers for website features. Local audio exports may rely on browser APIs and open-source media-processing components. Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Features involving cloud processing or AI, if enabled, may transmit content to relevant providers after you choose to use them. Do not assume that the privacy behavior of a local audio tool also applies to a separate online feature.

Availability and limitations

We aim to keep the website working, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free processing, compatibility with every file or device, or a particular output quality. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.

The website and its outputs are provided on an as-available basis, subject to applicable law. We do not promise that a processed recording is suitable for a particular professional, safety-critical, or commercial purpose. To the extent permitted by law, AudioBento is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use the service. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may revise these Terms as services change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Where required by law, we will provide further notice or request consent.
