How to Loop Audio Online

  1. 1

    Upload your audio

Choose a supported audio file. Check the waveform and listen to the original before selecting a section to repeat.

  2. 2

    Set up your loop

Choose Repeat Count or Target Duration and adjust Crossfade. Open Advanced to select a section, add Fade In or Fade Out to the final loop, or change MP3 Bitrate.

  3. 3

    Create and download

Choose MP3 or WAV, click Create Loop, then listen to the rendered output to check the joins and any fades. Download your MP3 or WAV when it is ready.

Make Audio Fit Your Timeline

Build repeating sound beds, practice sections, and extended clips with control over each transition.

01

Loop Full Audio or a Section

Repeat an entire recording or isolate the phrase, ambience, or sound effect you need. Open Advanced to choose Selected Section. Keep the original timeline visible while choosing precise boundaries.

  • Full Audio
  • Start and End
  • Drag waveform handles
02

Repeat by Count or Duration

Build a fixed number of repetitions for practice, or extend a sound bed to a total length in whole minutes. Target Duration trims the final repetition after mixing.

  • Repeat Count
  • Target Duration
  • Partial final repetition
03

Smooth the Loop Transitions

Use Crossfade to overlap the end of one repeat with the start of the next. It defaults to 0.5 seconds and supports 0–5 seconds, limited to one quarter of the selected section length. Set it to zero for a direct join. In Advanced, add optional Fade In and Fade Out at the start and end of the final output, then listen to the rendered result.

  • Crossfade
  • Adjustable overlap
  • No extra gaps
04

Practice a Phrase on Repeat

Create a repeating musical phrase or spoken passage to practice with. Play the rendered result, pause whenever you need a break, or adjust the source selection and create a new loop to focus on another phrase.

  • Repeat a selected phrase
  • Pause when you need a break
  • Adjust the practice section

Audio Looper FAQ

How do I repeat an audio file?
Upload your recording. Loop Section defaults to Full Audio in Advanced. Choose Repeat Count or Target Duration, then adjust Crossfade and create the loop. Listen to the rendered result before downloading it as MP3 or WAV.
How can I loop a song without replaying it manually?
Choose Full Audio and set a repeat count to place several plays in one file. Click Create Loop to render those repetitions, then use the Result player to listen to the extended song before downloading it as MP3 or WAV.
Can I loop only part of an audio file?
Open Advanced and choose Selected Section, then drag the waveform handles or enter Start and End times. The selected section becomes the repeating unit. Check the selection before export, especially when a phrase begins or ends close to a transient.
Does Repeat Count include the first play?
Yes. A count of three means three plays in total. Crossfade overlaps adjacent plays, so the exported duration is shorter than the section length multiplied by three. Set Crossfade to zero for three complete plays without overlap.
How do I check the loop transitions?
Click Create Loop, then use the Result player to hear the complete rendered file, including Crossfade transitions and any Fade In or Fade Out. These fades apply only to the start and end of the complete output, not to every repeat. The source player plays your uploaded audio or selected section. Change the settings and create a new loop to compare the joins.
Can I extend an MP3 to a specific length?
Select Target Duration and enter the total length in whole minutes. The tool repeats and mixes your section, then trims the final output to that length. Long sections or large output files may exceed the browser budget and require a shorter selection or output.
Which formats can I upload and download?
Upload a supported audio file and export MP3 or WAV. MP3 is encoded again and is not lossless. WAV usually needs more space. The tool reuses a loop buffer, but long sections and large output files can still exceed the browser processing budget.
Is my audio uploaded, and will it loop seamlessly?
Your audio stays in your browser while you edit and render it. Crossfade softens joins but does not guarantee perfect musical timing. It also does not make the end of the exported file join seamlessly back to its beginning.
